Author Aisha Bushby

Aisha Bushby

Aisha was born in Bahrain and has lived in Kuwait, England and Canada. The first novel she ever worked on was a piece of fan fiction based on her favourite book series which she stayed up all night to work on when she was thirteen. Aisha now writes children's books, sometimes with a little bit of magic in them. Her first MG novel, A Pocketful of Stars, was longlisted for the Carnegie medal. Following this Aisha has published the Moonchild duology, illustrated by Rachael Dean, and has lots more books up her sleeve!
Event
Working together as a group, attendees will come up with their own story featuring an animal companion of their choice. The activity will start with an introduction and reading from the Moonchild duology, followed by a workshop. There will be time for a Q & A at the end.
